About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Plumbing Service Manager to lead and inspire our dedicated team of skilled plumbers. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our residential service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, maximizing profitability, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team of plumbers.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that values teamwork, communication, and respect.
  • Service Excellence:
    • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of high-quality plumbing services to residential customers.
    • Develop and implement service procedures and best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize service calls.
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve service issues effectively and professionally.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.
  • Operations Management:
    • Manage service schedules, dispatch technicians, and monitor service progress.
    • Oversee inventory management, equipment maintenance, and vehicle upkeep.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Performance:
    • Monitor service revenue and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to the overall profitability of the service department.
    • Develop and manage service pricing and service agreements.
    • Prepare reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a plumbing service management role.
  • A Journeyman or Master license is preferred.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with a strong track record of team building and development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Service Titan
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
