Plumbing Maintenance Technician Duties:

• Assist with maintaining and repairing a variety of residential plumbing systems and fixtures (water heaters, drains, toilets, sinks etc.)
• Perform comprehensive plumbing system inspections for residential customer
• Identify potential issues before they become major repairs
• Complete routine maintenance on water heaters, fixtures, valves, and piping
• Document findings and communicate system health clearly to homeowners
• Provide recommendations that improve safety, efficiency, and long‑term reliability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked service vehicle
• Follow all safety standards, codes, and Whipple operating procedures
• Build trust with customers through professionalism, education, and service excellence

Plumbing Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• 1+ years of residential plumbing or maintenance experience

• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills

• Ability to communicate clearly with homeowners about system conditions

• Comfort working in crawl spaces, basements, and tight areas

• Valid driver’s license

• Reliable, professional, and customer‑focused work ethic

• Ability to lift/move equipment and work in varying weather conditions

• Flexible availability and a team‑first mindset
