Position Summary
Whipple Service Champions is looking for a passionate, energetic, and highly organized Community Engagement Manager to strengthen our connection with the communities we serve. This role is responsible for bringing the Whipple brand to life outside our walls by creating meaningful relationships, unforgettable community experiences, and partnerships that build trust with homeowners, strengthen our reputation, support recruiting efforts, and reinforce our mission of serving Utah families. The ideal candidate is not someone who simply coordinates events — they are a relationship builder, community ambassador, and brand champion who thrives on getting involved, creating opportunities, and making a positive impact. Key Responsibilities
Community Events & Experiences
- Own the planning, execution, and success of Whipple community events, sponsorships, and brand activations.
- Develop an annual community engagement calendar aligned with company goals.
- Coordinate participation in:
- Ensure every Whipple event reflects our commitment to professionalism, service, and community.
Community Partnerships
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with:
- Schools and trade programs
- First responders and veterans’ organizations
- Identify opportunities where Whipple can make a meaningful difference.
Brand Awareness & Reputation
- Serve as a visible ambassador for Whipple Service Champions throughout Utah.
- Create experiences that reinforce Whipple as the most trusted and community-focused home services company in the market.
- Identify opportunities for positive community exposure, partnerships, and local recognition.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on storytelling, photography, video, and social media content from community initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Create opportunities for employees to give back through volunteer programs and community service.
- Coordinate company-wide service initiatives.
- Partner with HR and leadership to strengthen Whipple's internal culture through meaningful experiences.
- Help employees become ambassadors for the Whipple mission.
Events Operations & Management
- Manage event logistics including:
- Evaluate event effectiveness and continuously improve our community strategy.
- Track results including leads generated, relationships built, recruiting impact, and return on investment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in community relations, event management, marketing, public relations, hospitality, nonprofit partnerships, or related fields.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience representing a brand at public events.
- Experience managing sponsorships or partnerships.
- Experience working with schools, nonprofits, or community organizations.
- Experience in home services, construction, trades, or a local service business environment.
